The Board approved $20,000 for the Guatemala COPAL – Part 2, and $4100 for Taiwan.
A motion was made by Mike and seconded by Janet to authorize the Treasurer, Mary Ruth Gross, to close the Reevaluation Foundation’s checking account at Bank of America and to direct her to close it. The motion passed unanimously.

A motion was made and seconded and passed to approve the slate of officers submitted by the Nominating Committee. They are as follows: Cynthia Phinney – Secretary, Mary Ruth Gross – Treasurer, Rudy Nickens – Vice President, Mike Markovits – President.
The executive committee was established as a standing committee and shall consist of President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary.
The Board will not meet in September.

Mike made a motion and Ellie seconded to approve Susan Whitlock to join the Board effective April 18, 2023. The motion carried.
Amended language for notice in the bylaws to modernize for electronic communications was approved.

- Chuck Esser request for South Sudan/Uganda for $10,000 to go into the South Central West Asian Liberation fund,
- Ellie Putnam request for French-speaking Africa — $10,640 from the Technology Fund for cell phones (10 people) and data plans (19 people)
- From Mike Markovits two requests to bring two funds into the black
- $10,000 into the South Central West Asian Fund
- $20,000 into the Chicano/Chicana fund
- From Chioma a request for $26,820 from the Technology Fund for teacher training in West Africa is approved.
